1:1TherewasamaninthelandofUz，whosenamewasJob;andthatmanwasperfectandupright，andonethatfearedGod，andeschewedevil.

1:22InallthisJobsinnednot，norchargedGodfoolishly.

2:1AgaintherewasadaywhenthesonsofGodcametopresentthemselvesbeforetheLORD，andSatancamealsoamongthemtopresenthimselfbeforetheLORD.

2:2AndtheLORDsaiduntoSatan，Fromwhenceestthou?AndSatanansweredtheLORD，andsaid，Fromgoingtoandfrointheearth，andfromwalkingupanddowninit.

2:4AndSatanansweredtheLORD，andsaid，Skinforskin，yea，allthatamanhathwillhegiveforhislife.

2:5Butputforththinehandnow，andtouchhisboneandhisflesh，andhewillcursetheetothyface.

2:6AndtheLORDsaiduntoSatan，Behold，heisinthinehand;butsavehislife.

2:7SowentSatanforthfromthepresenceoftheLORD，andsmoteJobwithsoreboilsfromthesoleofhisfootuntohiscrown.

2:8Andhetookhimapotsherdtoscrapehimselfwithal;andhesatdownamongtheashes.

2:9Thensaidhiswifeuntohim，Dostthoustillretainthineintegrity?curseGod，anddie.
